Dear Mama's,
Today is a special day. Not that any other day is less important, but this one here just hits differently. This day belongs all to you! Today, we will celebrate you, love on you, and buy you nice gifts to show admiration for one of the most important figures in our lives. So I wrote this letter as a token of appreciation to let you all know that your hard work and determination will never be forgotten. You are the gateway of life and the replenisher of generations. God made a wonderful thing when he made you!
See, being a mother is more than a title.
It's a full-time job. It's fixing dinner, helping with homework, doctor's visits, sports practices, and games while occasionally being the mediator between father and child. You ladies are truly superheroes defying the odds on a daily basis. You all play or have played very significant roles in our lives. A mother is her son's first love and her daughter's first friend. How a man treats a woman and how a young lady carries herself are directly linked back to you.
Tupac once said “There's no way I can pay you back, but my plan is to show you that I understand. You are appreciated!”
And with that being said, I would like to thank all the mothers worldwide for all the sacrifices that you make. I want to say thank you to all the mothers out there holding down their families, supporting and pushing their husbands and children to achieve their goals. I also want to say thank you to all the single mothers who persevere in the face of adversity. Thank you for never giving up even though society keeps pushing you down. Your strength and endurance have made some of the greatest men and women to ever walk on earth.
A mother's love is unconditional.
Even when tested, it will not waver. Most people in your life are like a Ferrari. They look good and go fast, but they really serve no purpose. But a mother is like a minivan she's made to ride till the wheels fall off. And even when you think you've crossed the line or went too far, she just looks at you and says it's ok, mama still loves you. Everything is going to be alright. Those are the sweetest words a child's ears will ever hear. So mothers thank you for giving us life for encouraging us, preparing, us guiding, us and most importantly, loving us.
So today, spread joy and celebrate the life of the one who gave you life! I would personally like to say Happy Mother's Day to every mom in the world. May your day be blessed and filled with joy. We love you!
